James has an enthusiasm for Mission Leadership, which can only be described as passionate. This has grown over almost thirty years of practical leadership experience, which started with operational tours as a teenage platoon commander on the streets of Northern Ireland and is yet to finish. During his military career James was the youngest instructor at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, commanded up to battalion level on operations and was twice chosen to be personal executive officer to the British Army’s most senior generals. As Assistant Director Counter Terrorism in the Ministry of Defense he initiated a strategic program of training and assistance to counties willing to partner in the global struggle against one of the most pressing contemporary threats. The last three years of work in the private sector have honed those experiences and he has successfully translated them into solutions for business, using instinct, innovation and core principles to achieve exceptional outcomes.
