McKinney Rogers Foundation - McKinney Rogers believes in investing in the future of Africa by supporting educational projects throughout the continent. We recognize the need for skilled and dedicated business professionals to play an active role in the economic development of a nation.

Since 2007 the MR Foundation has been sponsoring 12 talented students in East Africa - Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania – who, coming from particularly poor backgrounds, were unable to fund higher education. Their selection and ongoing support are administered via the East African Breweries Limited (EABL) Foundation. The EABL foundation is aiming at being the most trusted, effective, visible and transparent community development foundation in East Africa touching on the lives of poor and excluded people in East Africa.

This year, selected from over 1,500 applicants and supported by the MR Foundation, we have 2 scholars at  Strathmore University , Nairobi and another four at institutions in Uganda and Tanzania.
