Lead Coach

Location: London, UK (office/field based covering EMEA) or New York, NY (covering Americas)


As a Lead Coach, you will be responsible for supporting the outdoor and indoor delivery of experiential high performance team workshops and conferences.

As part of your role, you will be expected to travel throughout your region, occasionally worldwide and must be able to undertake this at short notice.

Your main accountabilities will include:

Programme design and delivery:

 - Developing and designing programmes in line with given themes / required outputs / time allocation, in liaison with the consultant.
 - Ensuring the development of equipment and supplies to support the programme
 - Working with Account Managers to ensure the transportation of equipment to programme locations
 - Managing relations with hotel and supporting staff at programme venues
 - Liaising with lead consultant to ensure that all consultant and client needs are delivered to the highest possible standards
 - Ensuring the programme is delivered to specification and to the highest standards
 - Awareness of sales leads and ensuring lead consultant is aware of these opportunities
 - Facilitating and debriefing High Performance Team exercises
 - Conducting ‘energisers’ for groups up to 100
 - Conduct the necessary risk assessments at programme venues
 - Ensuring all MR staff involved in HPT activities are properly trained, and insured where necessary

Internal:

 - Developing new exercises and ideas for future programmes
 - Managing, maintaining and accounting for all global HPT stores
 - Ensuring that venues are suitable and appropriate for our programmes
 - Working with the account manager and support staff to ensure that all the work is of the highest standard

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:


Leadership Experience

 - Experience of leading people – developing, coaching and mentoring teams to advance their careers
 - Strong and well developed problem solving skills
 - Previous military leadership experience highly desirable
 - Clear measurable evidence of having succeeded in challenging situations and delivering results
 - Track record of leading and pulling together teams and delivering substantial achievements through inspirational leadership

Education / Skills

 - Ability to engage, relate with and inspire clients to achieve the extraordinary
 - Resourcefulness and creativity; to think ‘out of the box’
 - Ability to think on the ground and provide solutions in difficult circumstances
 - Ability to lead and to demonstrate this to others with passion and energy
 - A track record of high standards of delivery with proven results
